Hello!
Ross
Writer/Editor/Tutor
Hello, I'm Ross!

I am a creative and critical writer, editor, and private tutor.

I was in the Royal Air Force Reserves from 2014-2021, first as a Royal Air Force Police Officer, and then as a Media Operations Specialist. I was also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Superlative – The Literary Journal, which provided a platform for emerging writers, and worked closely with them to help develop their writing. I am currently completing my PhD in Creative Writing at York St John's University.
I enjoy educating, and I am very fortunate to work with a wide range of students from an enormous variety of disciplines, helping them achieve their goals and reach their writing potentials.
Hannah
Marketing Executive
Hi, I'm Hannah!
I have an MA in Communications,
PR & the Media from the University of Gloucestershire.
Admittedly, I spend a lot of time aimlessly scrolling through social media, but I also LOVE reading books (especially after getting a Kindle Paperwhite!) so working first with Superlative, and now Ross Turner Academics has been a great way of combining two pastimes!
Deborah
Editor/Tutor
Hi, I'm Deb!
I have a lot of teaching experience from a wide range of public and private schools. I have a Level 5 Diploma in teaching English as a Foreign Language, and have spent many years working 1-to-1 with children, and in small groups, ensuring they get the best out of their education.
In particular, I have worked extensively with younger children, and have an enormous amount of experience working with children with special education needs, such as Asperger’s and Autism.
That being said, I still also really enjoy teaching at 13+ and GCSE level, helping students of all abilites reach their potential, and achieve the excellent grades they are aiming for.
Kelly (Dog)
Barketing Assistant
Woof-woof! Hello, my name is Kelly!

I'm a Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossed
with a Boxer.

I'm adorable and I know it, with a surprisingly strong grasp of complex punctuation. I spend most of my time eating, sleeping, walking, and asking for cuddles.
Don't be fooled –
I'm the brains behind this operation.
